Shoe box

Well you will soon learn that I am a big fan of dollar tree and getting the most for little money. The first project I am going to share is my shoe box I made for beside my door.
There was no room for a big box or bulky setup that I could find to work. So, shoes always got thrown everywhere.
One day I was working on taking boxes out and had a empty diapers box that got thrown in the corner. It was ok but who wants to see a pampers box when you first walk in.
I was at dollar tree and saw the contact paper and while I was trying to decide what I needed it for the shoe box came to mind. Here is what I did.
This is what it looked like before.

This you need:
A box - make sure if you are putting                         shoes on top that it is a sturdy box or it will cave.
Contact paper -  your choice of paper there is many to choose from. I got mine at dollar tree and one roll was enough for the outside.
I love the wood grain look!

The directions:
1.Before apply make sure that the paper is going to fit all the way around the box.
2.Start by peeling a small section off first and apply to box.
3. Smooth out trying to avoid bubbles and creases.
4. Cut at corners top to push paper inside will clean edges.
5. Continue until box is wrapped completely.

I hope you like my box. The best part is it looks like I spent a lot of money and it actually cost me 1.00 since I had the box.
Happy Project and God Bless!
